What is free?

Drawing and three local sticker previews are always free and made on-device. They require no account, credit, or network connection. Optional AI upgrades are a separate grown-up feature and use one credit for three delivered images.

Why does AI need a grown-up?

The first use in a supervised session shows the local grown-up check. AI then shows a clear data-sharing and retention disclosure, requires explicit parent/guardian consent, and uses Sign in with Apple. The consent record is remembered for that notice version, so it is not requested for every sticker; a changed notice or consent revocation requires consent again. Relaunching the app or leaving it in the background for ten minutes locks grown-up actions again without erasing the adult account session. The person passing the gate self-attests that they are the parent or guardian; Apple sign-in authenticates the Apple account but does not independently verify age or parental relationship.

Why is AI unavailable?

Free on-device stickers still work during a network, safety-service, or account outage. Check the internet connection and try again later. ScribbleJelly does not automatically repeat an uncertain AI request because the server may have already completed it and used the credit.

How do credits work?

A new grown-up account receives three starter credits and one free credit on a later eligible day. Credit packs are Apple consumable In-App Purchases. Apple's sheet shows the localized price. The server grants a verified transaction once, and an unfinished delivery is retried safely. Refunds can adjust the balance.

How do Save, Share, and AirPrint work?

PNG preserves quality and transparent edges; JPG and AirPrint use a white background. Save opens Apple's Files picker. Share can send a PNG to compatible installed printer or cutter apps. Hardware and app compatibility depends on the selected device, network, media, and manufacturer.

How do I sign out, revoke AI consent, or delete the adult account?

Open Privacy & Help, then use the grown-up account controls. Sign out removes the device session. Revoke AI consent disables online AI and new purchases until a grown-up explicitly consents again, but retains the account, wallet, and purchase records so refunds and reversals can settle. Delete adult account separately to remove the server account, encrypted Apple token, sessions, wallet, and generation records; Apple purchase history remains with Apple. A keyed Apple-subject event-time fence may remain for up to eight days to block a session exchange already in flight before deletion, and pseudonymous StoreKit notification-deduplication records may remain for up to 90 days. A later fresh Apple authorization can create a new empty account, but deleted credits and purchases cannot be restored. After sign-out or consent revocation, a fresh Apple check can still delete the account without re-enabling AI. If Apple authorization could not be revoked automatically, the app gives the grown-up the path to select ScribbleJelly and Stop Using Apple ID in Apple Account settings; this does not delay ScribbleJelly's own deletion. Deleting the ScribbleJelly account does not delete OpenAI abuse-monitoring logs before their normal expiry; those logs remain governed by OpenAI's retention policy and legal and safety exceptions.

Where are drawings saved?

The editor and free previews live in the app session. ScribbleJelly does not persist AI drawing or generated-image bytes in its application database or object storage. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days in abuse-monitoring logs, and longer when required by law or necessary to prevent harm. API data is not used to train OpenAI models by default unless the ScribbleJelly organization opts in. A drawing can contain personal details, so a grown-up should remove names, faces, school, address, phone number, and similar information before using AI. For App Store privacy disclosure, the drawing, recipe, and generated images are Other User Content collected for App Functionality, linked to the pseudonymous grown-up account, and not used for tracking. A grown-up chooses any permanent export destination through Apple's system UI.
