GROWN-UP INFORMATION
ScribbleJelly web privacy notice
ScribbleJelly is built to keep ordinary drawing play in the browser and put saving, sharing, purchases, and any AI upload behind a grown-up session.
Who operates ScribbleJelly
ScribbleJelly is operated by Anthony Fasano. Privacy and deletion questions can be sent to awfasano@gmail.com. The separate iOS privacy policy explains the native app's Sign in with Apple, AI, and In-App Purchase flows.
What stays on this device
Drawing strokes, placed stickers, colors, styles, magic words, and free local previews are handled in the current browser session. ScribbleJelly does not intentionally save drawing pixels in its database or publish them to a gallery.
Grown-up account and credit records
The web app uses OpenAI Sites' adult sign-in. ScribbleJelly uses the signed-in account identifier to protect a short-lived supervision session and, when the credit feature is configured, to keep a credit wallet, generation ledger, and payment status. Children do not receive accounts.
Optional AI sticker generation
AI is off unless the server has all required safety, adult-session, and data-retention settings. When a grown-up explicitly approves an AI upgrade, ScribbleJelly sends the current PNG drawing and selected closed-list recipe through its first-party service on OpenAI Sites to OpenAI's API for moderation and image editing. The drawing is not placed in the ScribbleJelly database, and failed requests are not silently retried. OpenAI's standard API data controls may retain request content, generated outputs, classifier results, and related metadata in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days by default, and longer when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect OpenAI's services or others. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the developer explicitly opts in.
Optional payments
Purchases are off until the payment backend is fully configured. If enabled, Stripe hosts checkout and processes payment details. ScribbleJelly records the chosen fixed pack, checkout identifier, payment state, and resulting credits; it does not receive the card number.
Saving, sharing, and printing
A grown-up can download PNG or JPG, use the device share sheet, or open a print dialog. The chosen browser, app, file provider, or printer may then handle that image under its own privacy terms. ScribbleJelly does not learn the chosen export destination.
Security and operational data
OpenAI, its infrastructure subprocessors, and the payment provider may process ordinary security and service logs needed to operate the service. Before online AI is enabled, child-privacy and age-assurance review must approve the disclosed standard-retention path, safety operations must be ready, and the production organization's training-data-sharing setting must be verified. ScribbleJelly has no advertising SDK, public chat, behavioral advertising, or child profile. Do not put names, school details, addresses, phone numbers, or other personal information on a drawing.
Access and deletion
A grown-up can contact the privacy address above to request access to or deletion of web account, credit, and checkout records. Payment providers may retain their own financial records under their policies and legal duties. Deleting ScribbleJelly's records does not delete OpenAI abuse-monitoring logs before their normal expiry; those logs remain governed by OpenAI's retention policy and legal and safety exceptions.
